Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP)• To implement community sensitization, and mobilization component of the project. By so doing ensure that participating communities are aware of the project, ensure effective and timely implementation of the project and promote sustainability of such projects in the locations.

• Facilitate the establishment of active and legally registered community associations and develop community mobilization and advocacy strategies.
• Deploy the use of Participatory Rural Appraisal PRA tools to identify and prioritize community needs.

• Train and equip community associations
• Facilitate the development of sub-catchment plans
• Facilitate peace building and conflict resolution mechanism among the participating communities

• To deepen and institutionalize public participation and inclusiveness in Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) system via effective Road Map Development in Ekiti State
58.Project Name: Gender Based Violence Mapping of TRIMING Project Participating Scheme and Development of a Proactive Prevention Response Plan.
Location: Kano, Jigawa, Gombe, Borno, Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto states
Period of Implementation: 4th December 2020-July 30th 2021
Total Cost: N101,873,125.00
The objectives of this assignment are to:
● Update existing mappings/delivery of a mapping of available services for survivors of GBV including medical care (CMR and care for survivors of Intimate Partner Violence), case management and psychosocial support services, safety and security, including availability of safe accommodation arrangements for temporary physical safety of survivors at risks of physical harm, protection, and legal services;
● Mapping of informal resources including services such as the existing community based mechanisms, and actors such as community based organizations (CBO), women’s groups, trusted individuals such as people who have been champions to speak out about positive male norms, and the unacceptability of SEA and other forms of GBV. Others include religious leaders and community leaders that survivors of SEA and other forms of GBV can have access to in the intervened area of the project using the survivor-centred and rights-based approach.
● Assess the quality/functionality of the services and propose what can be done to bring such entities to standard within the framework of the New Way of Working through Joint Analysis, Monitoring and Review and support to all partners on ground.
