AGILE PROJECT Promotes opportunities, empowerment, and mitigating gender-based vulnerabilities among adolescent girls in Nigeria.
The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project in Ekiti State is a transformative intervention aimed at improving secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls, promoting empowerment, and mitigating gender-based vulnerabilities.
The AGILE project is being implemented by the Ministry of Education in Ekiti State as well as the other selected states in Nigeria and funded by the World Bank. New Initiative for Social Development (NISD) is “Providing Technical Support for the Facilitation of Safe Spaces in Public Secondary Schools in Ekiti State”.
The project is currently being implemented in public secondary schools, including 3 special schools, across all 16 LGAs of Ekiti State.
